Directions and Parking
Public Parking
All-day parking is available in the municipal lot between Jordan and State Street, including handicap spaces. Parking pay stations have been installed to issue $6.00 all-day parking permits. The pay stations will accept quarters, dollar coins, and credit cards (no bills). The stations do not provide change back.
Short-term parking is also allowed in this part of the lot. The first 15 minutes are free, and each hour is $.75, up to a maximum of $6.00 for all day. You can get change if needed at the Skaneateles Chamber office at 22 Jordan Street.
Village meters on the street generally have a 2-hour limit, with a 3-hour limit on West Genesee St. The meters located on the Village Streets accept Visa, Mastercard, and quarters.
FREE PARKING is available at: Austin Park Pavilion (3 blocks north on Jordan Rd)
Paid parking areas are enforced between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays and Holidays.

Sherwood Inn

Hannum House
Hannum House is believed to have been built circa 1840, as Skaneateles evolved from a farming settlement into a more diversified community. Sawmills, gristmills, and woolen mills were thriving, powered by water from Skaneateles Lake. Spencer Hannum, for whom Hannum House is named, moved to the village in 1828 to establish a foundry. He employed 20 to 30 men in the manufacture of machinery for the woolen mills. After marrying Abigail Huff of Skaneateles, Hannum built his home beside the Sherwood Inn, on the main thoroughfare through Skaneateles.

Packwood House
The Packwood House is located in the center of the quaint historic village of Skaneateles on the north shore of Skaneateles Lake, the easternmost of the Finger Lakes. Built in 2003 on the site of the old Skaneateles Post Office, Packwood House was named after John Packwood (1824-1890). John Packwood was a highly successful carriage maker in Skaneateles and one of the early owners of the Sherwood Inn – which he had renamed Packwood House in the late 1800's.

For your special day, consider a custom-designed wedding cake from the Patisserie. The Patisserie features breads, fine pastries, specialty cookies, pies, and traditional holiday baked goods. It is located behind the Hannum House and the Sherwood Inn. Cake tastings are available by appointment.
